A lively, full-bodied gin. A bittersweet symphony of lime, fragrant carissa, elderflower and wild rosemary, underpinned with earthy notes of freshly cut bark, honeybush and toasted spice. Aromatic juniper and pine meet a late burst of citrus for a light sweetness with a long, dry and smooth finish. Enjoy neat over ice or with a premium tonic, lime zest, cinnamon bark and a sprig of rosemary.

Mossel Bay

The Mossel Bay region lies along South Africa’s Garden Route, where the Indian Ocean meets rugged cliffs and rolling hills. Known for its maritime history and mild coastal climate, the area benefits from cooling sea breezes and moderate temperatures year-round, creating ideal conditions for boutique agriculture, including small-scale viticulture and craft distilling.

Although Mossel Bay is not part of the traditional Cape Winelands, the region produces fresh, vibrant white wines such as Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc, as well as reds like Pinotage, Shiraz, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Production remains largely artisanal, with a focus on terroir expression and personal tasting experiences.

A highlight of Mossel Bay’s beverage scene is the Cape Saint Blaize Artisanal Distillery. Inspired by the iconic Cape St. Blaize Lighthouse and the coastal fynbos, it has established itself as a leading craft producer, specializing in small-batch gin that reflects the maritime character and botanical diversity of the region.

Experience Mossel Bay through its boutique wines and handcrafted spirits – each bottle captures the freshness, creativity, and coastal charm of this unique region.

Cape Saint Blaize

The small artisanal Cape Saint Blaize Artisanal Distillery is located in Mossel Bay, a small town on the coast of South Africa. The Saint Blaize lighthouse there has been guiding ships safely through the rugged coastal area since 1864. The distillery itself is located in the historic Ochre Barn, a former grain barn with a history dating back to the 18th century.

The botanicals come from the local area and are picked by hand. Each bottle is produced individually in Mossel Bay. Traditional methods and natural raw materials are used in the production process.

The ceramic bottles, which are individually cast and fired using traditional methods, are also true masterpieces.
