Light yellow color, attractive bouquet of peach, nectarines and marzipan. The wine has a medium body with aromas of oranges, yellow plums and mandarins on the palate. These aromas are supported by the delicate use of oak. Long finish and lingering aftertaste.

Tulbagh
Together with the districts of Cape Town, Darling, Franschhoek, Paarl, Stellenbosch, Swartland and Wellington, Tulbagh belongs to South Africa’s Coastal Region wine region.
The district, which is about 120 km from Cape Town, lies in a mountainous landscape. This causes different mesoclimates and the temperatures vary greatly between day and night. The rainfall per m² per year is around 550 mm.
At Savinis you will find the best producers from the Tulbagh area such as Rijk’s, Saronsberg and Waverley Hills. Saronsberg was founded in 2002 by Nick van Huysteen in this district. A visit to the winery is highly recommended. The beautiful vineyard in the artistic landscape convinces with excellent wines.
