Kevin Arnold
Kevin Arnold is considered one of the pioneers of the South African wine scene and has established himself as a master of Shiraz vinification over three decades. After his formative time at Rust en Vrede, he founded his own label in 2004 with a focus on handcrafted, terroir-driven wines from Stellenbosch.
Arnold concentrates on old vines and works exclusively with the best sites in the region. His philosophy is based on minimal intervention in the cellar and maximum expression of the terroir. The grapes are selected exclusively by hand and the wines are matured traditionally in French barriques.
Kevin’s many years of experience and his unerring sense of balance and elegance are reflected in each of his wines. His Shiraz wines in particular have gained international recognition and are among the best in South Africa.
