Rozendal

At the foot of the Jonkershoek Mountains in Stellenbosch lies the family-run Rozendal wine estate, which specializes in the production of exceptional vinegars and fermented drinks. Originally a wine estate, the family decided to take a different path in the late 1980s – inspired by old French balsamic recipes.

Today, Rozendal is known for its small batches of organic vinegars, which are fermented naturally and matured in oak barrels for many years. The vinegars are made from red and white grapes and are refined with selected botanical ingredients such as rosemary, lavender, raspberry leaves and green rooibos.

Rozendal’s approach combines traditional craftsmanship with sustainable thinking. All products are organic, untreated and free from additives – an expression of purity and patience.

With their elegant flavor profile and natural complexity, the vinegars are not only suitable for fine salads and gourmet cuisine, but also for creative cocktails or as a digestif – in the style of modern gourmet culture.
